The more compact habit of ‘Little Spire’ makes this a better choice for smaller gardens. Standing around 24 inches when in full bloom, ‘Little Lace’ can nicely be planted with shorter plants in a border, or use it as a airy filler in sparse areas of your garden. The silvery green foliage is very lacy creating a nice base for the lavender blue flowers that bloom from midsummer until the fall. The flowers make excellent cut or dried flower arrangements. ‘Little Spire’ is an improved dwarf selection that stays compact and does not flop over. An overall excellent perennial that is drought tolerant and virtually maintenance free.
